We’re sure you’ve all heard of V-day! Valentine’s Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration. Every year on February 14th people celebrate by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family and friends. Couples exchange Valentine’s Day cards and flowers and spend special time together to honour their love for each other.

The following data presents statistics regarding Valentine's Day that we have gathered:

190 million cards are exchanged annually.

35% of people send an anonymous card. 2/3 are men!

The most popular Valentine’s gift,

at 49% is chocolate

It would take 38 years of Valentine’s

23% of adults purchase flowers for Valentine’s day.
